Oxford University Society Travel Programme 2006

The Oxford University Society travel brochure 2006 is now available. New trips for 2006 include a chance to travel to the Himalayas, or to make a unique journey through Peru and Bolivia. There is also an exclusive Oxford safari to Namibia and a cultural tour of Sri Lanka. All tours are accompanied by expert scholars.

Special rates have also been negotiated for Oxford alumni on a number of ‘Swan Hellenic’ cruises, including the chance to travel from the UK to Norway, and see the beautiful mountain ranges, fjords and archipelagos. There is also a cruise which begins in the UK and includes the Channel Islands, Portugal, Spain, Morocco and Italy.

All tour operators make a donation to us for each Oxonian traveller, and these funds help to support the continuing work of the OUS on behalf of all Oxford alumni. We have also recently been able to give a number of travel awards and maintenance grants to current students. Your participation in the programme is therefore greatly appreciated.

We warmly welcome the participation of our international alumni in the travel programme. Please note that many of the tour operators are able to offer tour-only prices for alumni joining from abroad, so you may wish to enquire about this.
