The Oxford Society Munich is the officially recognized Alumni branch of the University of Oxford in Munich. We are committed to fostering the growing number of former Oxford students in the south of Germany and work closely with the other Alumni organisations in the DACH region to bring great events and networking opportunities to our members. Having started with 15 members in 1995, we are happy to have now signed up over 550 members!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are a lively society, hosting a series of events throughout the year, to which all alumni (and guests) of the Munich area are always cordially invited. The events vary from our annual fixed delights (Alpine Walk and Christmas Dinner) to events that vary year on year.The Society has also been leading the field in putting together speaker events (both digital and in person) with other Societies. These cover topics concerning global issues which the world is grappling with and are presented by experts in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, if you come across anyone in southern Germany who is not a member yet, please suggest that they get in touch with us. We look forward to seeing you soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Oxford Society Munich publishes all events on our Members only Facebook page (link). Please keep an eye out for all our upcoming events and programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every term, the Oxford Society Munich hosts a series of events designed to bring old and new alumni together in an informal and fun atmosphere. About two or three events are planned per Term, some open to members only, others also welcoming partners and friends. The committee aims to assemble a wide range of events, to cater for all membership interests. At the heart of each event, however, lies the chance to meet and network with alumni of all ages and to indulge in shared memories. Some events are also carried out in cooperation with other university alumni clubs of the Munich area, such as Cambridge and LSE.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The events are organized by the Society\u2019s committee, which convenes every two months for planning purposes. If you are interested in helping with event organisation, please do not hesitate to contact us. Likewise, should you have ideas for potential events, please feel free to drop us a line, we are always on the lookout for new ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Oxford Society Munich is open to all Oxford Alumni living in the south of Germany. The Society is run by a committee of volunteer alumni and there is no membership fee.
