This July the Munich Oxford Alumni Society held its annual Summer Party in the leafy garden of one of our committee members. The event took place on a wonderful summer afternoon. Everyone brought picnics, a BBQ was lit and people shared memories of their Oxford days whilst drinking copious amounts of Pimms. We were joined this year by the Munich Cambridge Alumni Society, so it was a great opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends. Moni Malek (Kings College, Camb.) who is co-owner of Tuscany vineyard (www.terranera.wine) was also kind to bring a selection of wines for guests to savour and enjoy. The Summer Party continued late into the night with wine moving on to whiskey.A delightful and relaxed day was had by all who attended, and we look forward to putting on the event again next year.
